The BSA is pleased to announce that Lizette Subach will be joining the BSA as the Managing Director this spring! Lizette will begin training with BSA's current Managing Director, Jodi Harris, in March and come fully on board in April for BSA's Spring Season!
We are thrilled to be sharing a bit more about Lizette and are grateful for our community for showing her a warm and inviting BSA welcome!
About Lizette Subach
Lizette moved to Belgium in the summer of 2021 with her husband and two children who currently attend ISB. They are originally from New York, but have also called New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Vienna (Austria) home.
Lizette holds a BA in Communications from the University of Scranton, and later obtained her MA in Health Education from Teachers College at Columbia University while working in their physical education department. Lizette's career has been focused on health education & promotion, personal/group fitness, and most recently in recreation and community programming. She is certified as a health education specialist by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, and also has certifications in fitness and wellness coaching. As a runner and former volunteer coach for Girls on the Run, she feels very grateful to live so close to the beautiful Sonian Forest where the running trails are endless!
Lizette is excited to join the BSA family and support their commitment to offer our international community a youth sports program that is inclusive and supportive, yet stimulating and challenging. It is her hope that all children participating in BSA programs will develop lifelong healthy habits and an appreciation for incorporating physical activity into their daily lives.
