Basketball FAQ

Do you have a question not answered below?
Email us at office (@) bsasports.org

Q: Is there practice during the week?
A: No, there is no practice for teams during the week. However, we offer free skills clinics which U8-U13 players are welcomed to attend. These clinics are conducted in groups (depending on the numbers of players and coaches).

Players will have the opportunity to train as a team before each game on Sunday.

Q: Where are the clinics held and on what nights?

A: Clinics are held at the International School of Brussels (ISB). Specific nights and times vary each year, depending on when the courts are available. They are communicated on the registration page at the beginning of each season.

Q: What if my child cannot attend either of the free clinics?
A: Unfortunately, we can only hold the free clinics on the nights indicated on the registration page. If your child cannot attend, they will still be able to train with their team on the weekend before their game.

Q: Where and when are the games played?
A: Games are played at the International School of Brussels (ISB) in Boitsfort and or at St John's International School in Waterloo on Sundays.

Q: How are children assigned to teams?
A: There will be a skills evaluation day before the season. We will then do our very best to develop balanced teams based on the results of these evaluations. We cannot accommodate special requests for team assignments.
